1.Sound Card Is Occupied by Other Programs – Exit Those Programs
If you see the following error messages,
“Failed to record, as your sound card is occupied by other applications. Please check it and free the sound card, or try to restart the computer.”
You can fix the not recording problem via the following solutions:
• Find and disable all voice chat programs, as well as audio tuning programs and other related recording programs. Or you can close all other background running programs expect for AnyRec Screen Recorder. Re-record screen video and audio to have a try.
• Cannot find the exact program? Just restart your computer. It can fix all sudden crashes. In many cases, Screen Recorder can record computer audio and microphone voice normally as usual.
2.Sound Card/Graphics Card Is Modified – Restart Screen Recorder
While running AnyRec Screen Recorder, the graphics card or sound card may switch or exit on your computer, which will lead to the failing detection of the sound card or graphic card and failing recording.

2.Click Privacy and then App Access.
3.Go to the Allow apps to access your microphone section.

5.The Speaker Is Plugged Unproperly – Reconnect the Speaker

1.Choose Run as administrator to start the program.

FAQ 3: How to Fix Phone Recorder Not Working?
When you use AnyRec Screen Recorder to record your phone screen, you may fail to detect your phone occasionally. That may be caused by the Windows Defender Firewall.
1.Press Windows + R. In the Run dialogue, type control to open Control Panel.
2.Click System and Security in the first place.
3.In the Windows Defender Firewall section, choose Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall.
4.Go to Allowed apps and features. Enable the checkmark before Private and Public next to mirrorrender.
5.Restart AnyRec Screen Recorder to record iPhone or Android screen on your computer again.

There are 4 screen capture modes in AnyRec Screen Recorder. You can choose one for personalized screen recording.
Auto Mode: The default screen recording mode. You can adjust recording quality and other details based on your computer’s performance.
Mode 1 (Common): Record screen video and audio with fixed quality and compatibility.
Mode 2 (Windows 10 1903 and later): For Windows 10 1903 and later users, you can get better recording quality.
Mode 3 (Common): If the above 3 modes don’t work well, you can switch to Mode 3 to get a smoother recorder. However, the recording quality will reduce.
